Review: Last Resort

LastResort1

A US sub picks up Navy SEALs and receives an order for a nuke launch. Due to the circumstances of the order, the Captain refuses to fire. After escaping an attack from another US sub, the crew and SEALs take refuge on a small island.

LastResort2

This is one of those shows that got cancelled earlier then it should have, if you haven’t seen it then you should, 13 episodes and all of them keep you on edge. The story is different, a US Navy Nuclear Sub turning against the US Government because of the plot to destroy them and cover it up. The story keeps developing and gets more intense, I’m just very happy that they at least gave it an ending, albeit not the best one but still an high note at the end to one very dramatic show. This show seriously should not have been cancelled, it had all the intricacies of a complex action/political show to play out with an interesting twist, which it did to a degree. I have been putting off watching the end of the show, but after I did I’m glad I did, its one of those shows that just leaves you on a good note and your happy you watched it. I notice that shows that paint the US Government in a bad way militarily or as if there is a government conspiracy going on, they don’t tend to play out, just like the show Jericho from 2006.
