Review: Green Lantern Emerald Knights

As the home planet of the Green Lantern Corps faces a battle with an ancient enemy, Hal Jordan prepares new recruit Arisia for the coming conflict by relating stories of the first Green Lantern and several of Hal’s comrades.

I still get chills when I hear the Green Lantern oath, there is something about that just prepares you for battle.

“In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil’s might, Beware my power… Green Lantern’s light!“

This animated movie came out in the summer and I for one love all of them, and this is a little different then the usual Green Lantern story. You get introduced to Hal Jordan as a familiar character but not a story about him, its more about the Core and the Green Lanterns. What was entertaining is that you get introduced to a few different characters in the Green Lantern Core and see how it developed, and the story develops around their current threat that faces the Green Lanterns. The animation is simple reminds me of the animated show the Justice League and it isn’t as good as Green Lantern First Flight but still very fun to watch. Made me put my Green Lantern ring on and see if it works, doesn’t hurt to try.
