Synopsis:
Four Lions tells the story of a group of British jihadists who push their abstract dreams of glory to the breaking point. As the wheels fly off, and their competing ideologies clash, what emerges is an emotionally engaging (and entirely plausible) farce. In a storm of razor-sharp verbal jousting and large-scale set pieces, Four Lions is a comic tour de force; it shows that—while terrorism is about ideology—it can also be about idiots.
This is one tricky movie, its hilarious how these guys go about their business trying to achieve their goals. Its probably one of the funniest movies about a sensitive subject, taking it from a different angle. It was shown the Cannes Film Festival the movie is slated for release on May 7th in the UK but I can understand that it might get slaughtered by the general public, I think the movie is hilarious and they do it with style. No international release date has been set yet, but I would love to see this movie.
